Sara Brincat Friggieri

Gestalt Psychotherapist

Sara is a warranted Psychotherapist practising from a Gestalt perspective. She completed her Master’s in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute Malta (EAPTI-GPTIM) in 2025 and was awarded her warrant as a Psychotherapist by the Psychotherapy Profession Board of Malta in 2026.

Her path to psychotherapy has been shaped by many years of working closely with people. Alongside her psychotherapy practice, Sara has an established career in education. She currently works as a PSCD teacher and has previously worked as a Nurture Group Support Teacher, supporting children, young people and families in settings centred around emotional wellbeing, relationships and personal development.

These experiences have deepened her understanding of how important it is for people to feel genuinely heard, accepted and understood. They have also shaped the way Sara approaches her therapeutic work: with warmth, curiosity, respect and without judgement.

Sara works with adults experiencing a range of emotional and relational challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Low self-esteem
  • Loss and grief
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Life transitions and periods of change
